F-Balm is made from natural ingredients, and while it may have a mild natural scent due to its tallow base, it is generally not overpowering. The tallow we use is triple-filtered which takes away much of the “beefy” smell that you may have experienced with other tallow brands.

The original F-Balm has a slight frankincense scent. We also offer Unscented which has a light honey scent.

Here’s how we’d use F-Balm with makeup:

- First, warm a small amount of the Balm between your fingers. Add a drop of water if you find it's a little thick.

-Apply the F-Balm as your moisturiser (after any serums, ect, if using) and massage it in. 

-Let it rest for a few minutes to absorb into your skin. Then go ahead with your makeup, using the F-Balm as a moisturising primer to prevent the foundation from going into your pores and to give you a glowy finish!

When opened, keep the F-Balm in a room-temperature place! As long as it doesn’t get too hot (it might melt) or too cold (it will be harder to spread), it’s easily spreadable and should absorb pretty quickly, leaving the skin moisturised but not greasy. You can store unopened tins in a cool, dry place till you’re ready to use them!
